1. How to delete your account

There are two ways — both work the same:

• In the app: open Settings → Delete Account. It brings you to this page.
• Without the app (also after uninstalling): use the request form below, or email us at info@blackcarrot.tech from your account email address.

3. What gets deleted

• Your account: name, email address, company name, country, password (hash).
• Your team membership and any invitations you sent.
• Inspections, defects, sites and inspection photos stored on our servers for your account.
• Usage records (app-open events) linked to your email address.

Data stored only on your phone (offline inspections, local photos, app settings) is not on our servers — remove it by deleting the app or clearing its storage in Android settings.

4. What we keep, and for how long

• Free-trial accounts: nothing is kept. Trial accounts are in any case deleted automatically 30 days after the trial ends if not converted.
• Paid accounts: invoicing and contract records are kept only as long as UK law requires (up to 6 years for tax records), then deleted. They are no longer linked to an active account.
• Team data: inspections created for a company account belong to that company. If you were a team member, your personal data is removed; the company's inspection records remain with the company admin.

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. You receive a confirmation email when it is done. Details on all processing: Privacy Policy.
